I have been performing in drag since 2021, before developing in the burlesque scene from 2023, and attending my first ever burlesque festival the very next year. I also bring experience in grant-making strategy, fundraising and charity evaluation and learning, which I contribute to the panel.

Starting in 2008 initially as a performer and then moving into producing (also with experience in theatre and design/making), I'm currently celebrating 18 years of sharing my life with all things Burlesque and Cabaret. In that time I have watched thousands of performers, shows and festivals and have packed my mental rolodex of amazing acts. I have no greater joy than seeing an artist's evolution and growth over the years and my producing work, including 'bucket-list show' The Peacock Lounge, has given me the scope to support this by creating jobs and providing practical help and tools for complete newcomers through to established world class UK and international headliners. Outside of the industry I have advocated and helped professional bodies and charities to write guidance and create opportunities for people who are under-represented or those with access-needs.
Donna Ponderosa

Donna Poderosa is an international burlesque artist with a passion for cabaret & booty shaking. She was voted in the Top 50 most influential burlesque figures worldwide in 2025 (#15) & 2024 (#49). Donna is also a co-producer of scratch nights for Soho School of Burlesque for artists to have a playground to test new work.
